Bear Sprays are a necessity when travelling in bear country.  Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Parks are home to both Black and Grizzly bears.

Why buy a bear spray?

If you travel to Bear Country often by car or are lucky to live in our mountains - you really need to own one.  Make sure you check the expiration dates on the ones stashed in your pack, bins or garage - replace them if overdue!

Why use our Buy Back Program?

Bear Sprays are not allowed on airlines either as carry on or checked luggage so buying one for the weekend just in case is expensive and wasteful. 

Retail on these range between $50 - $70, making it an initially expensive expense UNTIL you run into a situation where you need one.

Teton Adventure Gear HQ's buy back program provides you the safety of having one of these safety devices and only pay a fraction of the cost if you do not use it.**

Our program is designed to ensure that everyone in the back-country has access to the device at a fraction of the cost.  We take measures to ensure each unit that goes out is functional per manufacturer's specs.

Weekend (3 day)             $ 25.00

Week (7 day)                    $ 35.00

**Canisters will be weighed at checkout and check in to monitor use.  Only unused and undented Bear Sprays with case are eligible to be returned.  Acceptance of returns is at the discretion of the receiving location.
