Courses are extremely comprehensive learning environments, with hands-on demonstrations and opportunities taking place on the trails. Tips and tricks for negotiating the terrain will be blended with discussions, challenges and obstacles to teach you about the vehicle's capabilities.

●how to do a quick field fix when something on your truck breaks
●how to pick a proper line and how to spot another driver
●basic and advanced recovery techniques
●suggestions for modifying your truck and much, much more.
Teton Adventure Gear HQ vehicles are equipped with different Suspension systems, body armour, tires, RoofTop tents and recovery gear. These will allow you to evaluate which options will work best for your personal vehicle application and goals.
The course is a two day with a back country overnight that will allow Bill to teach site selection, site preparation, toileting logistics, site take down with emphasis on having the least impact on the environment.
Teton Adventure Gear will provide gear for bear safety in our wild environment. We will be training and camping in Grizzly and Black Bear habitat. We will have bear proof containers, bear spray, we will set up an electric bear fence and teach you how to best prevent encounter's with our bear friends.
A full course dinner is included and will be prepared in our camp kitchen - another opportunity to evaluate different stoves, tables and cooking gear specific to overlanding.
This course offering is the most comprehensive two day overland course for both beginners and seasoned overland veterans.
